Frequently Asked Questions
Why should I Choose Watch Protective?
Choose Watch Protective for DIY-simple installation and real value.
Our watch protection film matches each reference precisely and keep the factory look, fairly priced with spare pieces included for easy refreshes.
Why protect my watch?
- Preserve finish & resale: keep polished/brushed surfaces looking fresh.
- Reduce micro-scratches (desk rub, clasp contact, shirt cuffs).
- Daily-wear confidence: enjoy the watch without babying it.
Will it change how my watch looks?
Our film is high-clarity and thin. Once cured, it’s barely noticeable at normal viewing distance.
Will it fit my watch?
Each kit is model-specific. Pick the exact reference from our shop area.
Does it leave residue on removal?
Peel low and slow along the surface. It’s designed to come off cleanly.
What’s in the kit?
Precisely cut film pieces for bezel/case/clasp (and bracelet where applicable) plus spare pieces for high-wear areas. No tools or liquids included—film only.
How do I install it?
Adhesive is water-activated. Work dust-free, mist the surface, fully wet the adhesive, place precisely inside the edges. Please see our installation guide for details.
Is Watch Protective protection it self-healing?
Yes. Minor marks from everyday wear can self-heal over time (room temperature or gentle warmth).
Why might edges look dirty over time?
The film is a sacrificial layer—it takes everyday wear so your watch doesn’t. If edges look tired, the film has done its job. Swap in the spare piece.
How long does the film last?
Wear-dependent. Clasp pieces see more contact and may need earlier replacement; case/bezel pieces generally last longer. Spares are included.
Is it waterproof after cure?
Yes. After 48 hours, normal hand-washing and everyday moisture are fine. Avoid solvents/abrasives; clean with water and a soft cloth.
